Job Description

As an HR Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Human Resources department in various administrative functions. This position requires a detail-oriented, organized, and efficient individual to assist in daily HR operations. You will be responsible for maintaining personnel records, managing HR documents, and updating internal databases. Additionally, you will assist in hiring processes by managing job postings, scheduling interviews, and conducting preliminary resume screenings. To thrive in this role, you should have strong communication skills and a keen interest in HR practices. By working collaboratively within the HR team, you will contribute to creating a positive work environment and ensuring the smooth running of all HR-related activities.


Responsibilities

  • Assist with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties.
  • Provide clerical and administrative support to Human Resources executives.
  • Compile and update employee records, both physical and digital formats.
  • Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities.
  • Coordinate HR projects, such as meetings and training sessions.
  • Deal with employee requests on issues related to human resources policies.
  • Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data when necessary.
  • Communicate with public services when necessary regarding employment topics.
  • Coordinate communication with candidates and schedule interviews efficiently.
  • Post job ads and manage the recruitment process as needed.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of human resource policies.
  • Support other assigned functions as needed, adapting quickly to changes.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in HR administrative roles or relevant human resources position.
  • Familiarity with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) is a plus.
  • Strong ability to concentrate, multi-task, and complete various assignments.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are highly essential.
  • A strong understanding of confidentiality and data protection principles.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or relevant field strongly preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint software.
