Job Description

The HR Assistant plays an essential role in supporting the HR department's daily operations. This role requires a proactive and organized individual who can manage multiple tasks and projects while maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. The HR Assistant will assist with the recruitment process, manage employee records, and help with onboarding new employees. Additionally, the role involves providing clerical support, participating in special projects, and ensuring that all HR operations run smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities

  • Assist in the recruitment and interview process by scheduling and coordinating interviews.
  • Maintain and update employee records, ensuring complete accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Support the onboarding process by preparing new employee files and documentation.
  • Organize and maintain HR department’s filing system and confidential documents.
  • Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the HR department.
  • Respond to internal and external HR-related inquiries or requests in a timely manner.
  • Prepare reports and presentations on HR metrics and employee status updates.
  • Coordinate HR projects such as seminars, training, and workshops as needed.
  • Assist with the preparation of personnel procedures and guidelines.
  • Manage the scheduling and coordination of training sessions and development programs.
  • Participate in organizing company events and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Provide support in payroll processing and benefits administration as necessary.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an HR Assistant or in a related administrative role.
  • Strong understanding of human resources policies, applicable laws, and regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional demeanor.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software like HRIS or similar systems.
  • Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality with sensitive employee information.
