Job Description

The HR Assistant role is integral to maintaining the efficiency of the human resources department within an organization. This position involves providing comprehensive administrative support, facilitating communication across various departments, and ensuring the accurate maintenance of employee records. The HR Assistant will collaborate closely with HR managers and specialists to implement HR policies and fulfill operational requirements. This role demands a high level of organizational skills, discretion, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. As an HR Assistant, you will contribute directly to the success of the human resources team by supporting daily HR operations.


Responsibilities

  • Assist in the recruitment process by posting job listings and screening resumes.
  • Coordinate interview schedules between candidates and hiring managers promptly.
  • Maintain employee records accurately and ensure confidentiality of information.
  • Support the onboarding process by preparing documentation and scheduling training.
  • Facilitate communication between HR and other departments within the organization.
  • Assist in the administration of payroll by gathering employee data and records.
  • Organize and participate in HR department meetings and prepare meeting minutes.
  • Handle employee queries regarding HR-related issues and escalate if necessary.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Assist in performance management processes and update performance records.
  • Support HR managers in various research and project-based initiatives.
  • Contribute to a positive workplace culture through various employee engagement activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as an HR Assistant, HR Administrator, or relevant human resources role.
  • Strong ability to handle data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in using HR software, MS Office, and other related tools.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, are a must.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
