Job Description

The HR Administrator plays a crucial role in the Human Resources department, responsible for managing and implementing HR policies and procedures. This position acts as a bridge between employees and management, ensuring clear communication and efficient HR operations. The HR Administrator is tasked with the day-to-day management of HR operations, which includes the administration of policies, procedures, and programs. The role requires an individual who is highly organized, possesses excellent communication skills, and is able to facilitate a harmonious workplace through effective conflict resolution and training initiatives. The HR Administrator will also be responsible for keeping up to date with current employment laws and making sure the company is compliant.


Responsibilities

  • Administer and manage the daily HR functions of the organization.
  • Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job ads and screening candidates.
  • Maintain employee records and manage HR databases effectively and confidentially.
  • Coordinate onboarding processes and ensure new employees are welcomed properly.
  • Implement and enforce company policies to ensure legal compliance and consistency.
  • Provide support to employees relating to HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
  • Manage payroll processes and assist with employee compensation and benefits programs.
  • Handle employee queries regarding HR-related issues and resolve conflicts smoothly.
  • Coordinate with HR teams for training and development programs to enhance skills.
  • Prepare HR reports and maintain documentation for audit purposes periodically.
  • Facilitate constructive employee relations and culture-building activities effectively.
  • Ensure the workplace environment is safe, healthy, and supportive for all employees.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least two years of experience working in Human Resources or related roles.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail for managing multiple tasks.
  • Understanding of HR best practices, labor laws, and employment equity regulations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle workplace conflicts diplomatically.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite for data management.
