Job Description

The HR Administrator plays a crucial role in the human resources department, acting as a backbone for many HR functions within an organization. This position demands a meticulous individual who is capable of managing HR administrative tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive employee experience. The HR Administrator is often the first point of contact for employees with HR-related queries and must therefore possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. In addition to interfacing with employees, this role also supports the implementation of HR initiatives and systems, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and company policies. As an HR Administrator, you will contribute to fostering a positive workplace environment, acting as a liaison between HR and employees while supporting HR's alignment with organizational goals.


Responsibilities

  • Manage employee records and ensure all documentation is up-to-date and accurate.
  • Handle the recruitment and onboarding process for new hires, facilitating a smooth transition.
  • Assist in implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the company's objectives.
  • Provide support for employee queries and issues, ensuring timely resolutions.
  • Maintain confidential HR databases and generate reports for management review.
  • Coordinate with external agencies for employment verifications and background checks.
  • Support in organizing employee engagement activities and company events.
  • Administer employee benefits and explain plan options to workers as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies in all HR activities.
  • Assist in performance management processes by helping track and report on targets.
  • Coordinate training sessions and seminars to foster employee development.
  • Manage employee leave records and assist in payroll processing as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in an HR administrative role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR functions and best practices within the industry.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS software applications.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • High level of confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
