Job Description

The HR Administrator plays a crucial role in maintaining and improving the HR functions within an organization. This position serves as a key point of contact for employees, addressing inquiries and resolving issues regarding policies, practices, and HR procedures. The HR Administrator is responsible for maintaining employee records, ensuring compliance with labor regulations, and supporting various HR activities. They support recruitment efforts, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, and performance management. To thrive in this role, the HR Administrator must have excellent communication and organizational skills, a high level of discretion, and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality. Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and management systems for compliance purposes.
  • Assist with recruitment processes including job postings, interview scheduling, and candidate communication.
  • Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth introduction to the company.
  • Administer employee benefits programs and respond to any related inquiries from staff.
  • Support performance management processes by coordinating appraisals and tracking feedback documentation.
  • Ensure that HR policies and procedures are regularly updated and effectively communicated.
  • Address employee queries regarding payroll, benefits, and policies promptly and professionally.
  • Liaise with payroll to ensure accurate and timely processing of employee compensation.
  • Monitor compliance with labor laws and report any discrepancies to the HR manager.
  • Assist in organizing employee training sessions, workshops, and health and wellness programs.
  • Contribute to creating a positive employee experience by supporting various HR initiatives.
  • Prepare HR reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience as an HR Assistant or Administrator is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes, labor laws, and best practices.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
  • High level of integrity and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective employee interaction.
