What Youll Do

You’ll love what you do and take pride in delighting our guests:

• You will be responsible for sorting and counting soiled linen, tagging, and dispatching to the laundry to ensure our guests receive nothing but the best experience.
• You will be responsible for delivering guest request items, placing and removing special requests such as extra beds, baby cots, special pillows and other requests to ensure our guests receive nothing but the best experience.
• You will count clean linen and deliver to allocated location on floors.
• Provide assistance for laundry, uniform room and floors as required.
• Provide assistance on the floors as necessary, for stripping rooms linen, delivering items to rooms, cleaning areas, placing linen etc.
• Ensure that all calls and requests are actioned and completed as per standards.
• Issue the clean F&B linen and update tracking of any shortages, damaged etc.
• Liaise with the pool, gym, and spa teams to issue their clean linen and collect dirty for the outside laundry.
• Ensure all paperwork is up to date and monthly reports are prepared for all linen sent out.
• Complete inventories of linen, housekeeping amenities, guest request items, uniforms, chemicals, OSE items, and update on any shortages, damaged and stained linen, and order supplies as necessary.
• Highlight any deficits in linen not returned from the laundry and any stained or discarded items.
• Ensure follow up on all outstanding linen to be delivered.
• Keep all corridors and pantry areas clean and tidy and stocked correctly.
• Ensure all Lost & Found is handed over, logged, and stored as per policy and procedures.

• You will be adaptable and be able to think on your feet and multi-task.
• Communication is what keeps our departments running perfectly. You have great communication skills with a strong guest service ethic.
• English is the primary language used in our hotel. You can comfortably communicate in this language.
• You are organized, articulate and adaptable.
• You have a high school education and bring your experience working for luxury hotels.
• You have a least 1-year experience in a similar position in a luxury 5 star brand.
