Job Description

As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will be an essential part of the team responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of the facilities. Your role will involve cleaning assigned areas, ensuring that rooms and common areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort for guests and residents. You will be expected to have a keen eye for detail, a commitment to providing excellent service, and an ability to work efficiently to meet tight schedules. Responsibilities

  • Clean and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to high standards.
  • Replace linens and towels, and restock guest amenities in each room.
  • Report any damaged or missing items to the housekeeping supervisor promptly.
  • Perform regular inspections of assigned areas for cleanliness and maintenance needs.
  • Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Collaborate closely with the laundry department for quick turnover of linens.
  • Ensure housekeeping carts are clean, orderly, and well-stocked at all times.
  • Assist in deep cleaning projects and any additional tasks during off-peak periods.
  • Adhere to all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries, providing excellent customer service.
  • Handle lost and found items in accordance with the facility's protocols.
  • Participate in training sessions and team meetings to enhance service quality.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in housekeeping is a plus.
  • Prior experience in housekeeping or a similar role preferred but not mandatory.
  • Ability to use cleaning equipment and perform physical tasks effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality service standards.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Ability to manage time efficiently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays if needed.
