Job Description

The Housekeeping Attendant in our esteemed hospitality establishment plays a crucial role in maintaining a clean, comfortable, and inviting experience for all guests. Responsible for the cleaning and upkeep of guest rooms, corridors, and public areas, the attendant ensures that all facilities meet our high standards of hygiene and aesthetics. As an integral part of our operations team, you'll have the opportunity to interact with guests, contributing to their positive stay by maintaining the ambiance and standards our establishment is known for. Your detail-oriented approach, consistency in performance, and dedication to customer satisfaction will be pivotal in your success in this role. This position demands a keen eye for detail, a strong sense of initiative, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.


Responsibilities

  • Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms including bathrooms and bedrooms.
  • Change linens and towels, ensuring all are clean and well-presented.
  • Replenish guest amenities such as toiletries, coffee, and other supplies.
  • Vacuum and dust all areas of the room and suites to maintain cleanliness.
  • Ensure corridors and public areas are neat and presentable at all times.
  • Adhere to safety and cleanliness standards as set by health regulations.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department.
  • Assist in the deep cleaning and seasonal setup as directed by management.
  • Handle guest inquiries or requests with utmost professionalism and courtesy.
  • Update the housekeeping management system with room status and service information.
  • Care for and maintain housekeeping equipment, ensuring its proper use and storage.
  • Participate in training sessions to keep skills up-to-date and relevant.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field is preferred.
  • A strong commitment to customer service and guest satisfaction.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work unsupervised as needed.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written are required.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and walking.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
