Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms and bathrooms to meet company standards.
• Replace linens, towels, and amenities in guest rooms daily as needed.
• Respond promptly to guest requests, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Vacuum, dust, and polish room and public area surfaces thoroughly.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
• Replenish supply items and monitor the stock levels regularly in cart and storage.
• Ensure confidentiality and security of guest rooms and privacy of guests.
• Arrive on time for shift and adhere to the dress code and personal hygiene policies.
• Work with a sense of urgency to ensure guest rooms are ready in timely manner.
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of common areas like hallways and lobby.
• Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently, following company protocols.
• Participate in periodic deep-cleaning projects as assigned by management staff.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required for application eligibility.
• Prior experience in housekeeping or similar role is highly preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high standards.
• Ability to handle cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and responsibly.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills to liaise effectively with team.
• Physical stamina to stand, bend, and walk for long periods during the shift.
• Flexibility to work varied hours including weekends and public holidays if needed.
