Job Description

As a Hotel Operations Manager, you will take on a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our hotel, providing a welcoming and satisfying experience for all guests. You will oversee various departments within the hotel, including front desk, housekeeping, and food services, and will be responsible for maintaining high standards in customer service. As a leader, you will be expected to motivate and manage teams to achieve outstanding performance and operational efficiency. Quality and service will be your watchwords, as you work to enhance guest satisfaction and ensure that the hotel meets financial targets. Your analytical skills will be crucial in identifying potential improvements to our operations, thereby driving both guest satisfaction and business success.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations in the hotel to ensure smooth execution and guest satisfaction.
  • Manage and coordinate activities of various departments such as front desk and housekeeping.
  • Develop and implement policies and standard operating procedures to improve service quality.
  • Monitor financial performance and adopt strategies to achieve revenue targets and cost control.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate updates, goals, and operational initiatives.
  • Implement comprehensive training programs to improve staff performance and service delivery.
  • Address and resolve guest complaints promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations to guarantee a safe environment for guests.
  • Analyze and evaluate key performance metrics to identify areas for operational improvement.
  • Collaborate with marketing to enhance hotel exposure and attract more business.
  • Maintain inventory and oversee the procurement of supplies within budgetary constraints.
  • Foster a positive working environment to boost staff morale and productivity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in hospitality management or relevant operations roles.
  • Strong leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills to engage with guests and staff.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities to address issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
