Job Description

The ideal candidate for the Hotel Manager position will be an experienced leader with a strong background in hospitality management, operations, and excellent customer service skills. The Hotel Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of hotel operations, ranging from managing daily activities to ensuring guests receive exceptional service. The candidate should have a proven track record in budgeting, financial management, staff supervision, and strategic planning. It is essential for the Hotel Manager to maintain high standards of hotel service while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise hotel staff to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance hotel performance and profitability.
  • Oversee budget preparation, financial analysis, and ensure cost-effective operations.
  • Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction by maintaining excellent service standards.
  • Implement and enforce policies to maintain legal compliance and operational standards.
  • Coordinate with marketing and sales teams to develop promotional strategies.
  • Manage supplier relationships to maintain quality while controlling costs.
  • Conduct regular inspections of hotel facilities to ensure safety and cleanliness.
  • Address guest feedback and resolve issues promptly to maintain satisfaction.
  • Recruit, train, and develop hotel staff to maintain high performance levels.
  • Create and maintain performance reports to track hotel operations and progress.
  • Foster a positive workplace culture to ensure employee engagement and retention.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in hotel management or related position.
  • Strong understanding of financial management and budgeting principles.
  • Exceptional leadership and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for team and guest interaction.
  • Proficient in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, when necessary.
