Job Description

The Hotel Cleanliness Expert is a vital team member responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the hotel. As a dedicated cleanliness professional, you will ensure that all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces are impeccably clean and comfortable, contributing significantly to the guest experience. You will utilize your keen eye for detail and strong work ethic to uphold the hotel’s reputation for quality. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, punctuality, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and sanitary environment for guests and staff. Your dedication will enhance the overall ambiance and operational success of our establishment.


Responsibilities

  • Ensure all guest rooms are cleaned and maintained following hotel standards and guidelines.
  • Perform routine inspections of public areas, guest rooms, and housekeeping equipment.
  • Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate department promptly.
  • Restock all guest room supplies such as toiletries, towels, and amenities regularly.
  • Maintain a comprehensive inventory of housekeeping supplies and request replenishment as needed.
  • Adhere to strict hygiene and safety protocols to prevent health hazards and accidents.
  • Respond to guest requests and queries promptly and with courtesy and professionalism.
  • Cooperate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and effective service delivery.
  • Train and guide new housekeeping staff on cleaning techniques and hotel standards.
  • Participate actively in team meetings to discuss improvements and share feedback.
  • Dispose of waste materials securely and sustainably in line with hotel policies.
  • Uphold confidentiality and security of guest data and personal belongings at all times.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a housekeeping attendant or similar role in hospitality.
  • Strong understanding of hotel cleanliness standards and best practices.
  • Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance.
  • Proficient in handling cleaning equipment and materials efficiently and safely.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with an eye for detail.
  • Good physical stamina as the role requires substantial physical effort.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
