Role Overview

The Hostess is the first point of contact for guests, responsible for creating a warm, welcoming, and professional environment. This role ensures smooth guest flow, manages reservations, and contributes to an exceptional luxury dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Reception & Experience

• Welcome and greet guests with a professional and friendly demeanor.
• Manage reservations, guest lists, and table allocations efficiently.
• Escort guests to their tables, provide menus, and inform them of specials or promotions.
• Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and courteously.
  
  

• Coordinate with waitstaff and management to ensure smooth seating and service flow.
• Maintain the reception and waiting areas in a clean, organized, and welcoming condition.
• Monitor waiting times and manage guest expectations professionally.
• Assist with special arrangements for VIP guests or events.
  
  

• Maintain accurate records of reservations, guest preferences, and special occasions.
• Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and manage online reservations efficiently.
• Provide reports on reservations, guest feedback, and occupancy trends as required.
  
  

• Uphold luxury service standards, etiquette, and presentation at all times.
• Adhere to company policies, health, safety, and hygiene standards.
  
  

• Minimum 1–3 years’ experience as a Hostess, Receptionist, or Guest Relations in high-end restaurants, luxury hotels, or fine-dining venues.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Professional appearance, polished demeanor, and confidence in guest-facing roles.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
