With stunning resorts located across the globe and exciting expansion planned, Kerzner International currently has a fantastic opportunity for a Head Waiter/ Head Waitress to join the One&Only team at One&Only The Palm Resort in Dubai.

With the global growth of our brands, you will be an integral part of the Resort’s success and your role goes beyond developing potential relationships with our guests and colleagues. He/she will work closely with the Culinary and Beverage teams to ensure One&Only service standards exceed the experience of the guest. Where you will be responsible in assisting the Restaurant Manager and Assistant Manager to maintain resort standards, leads, supervises and motivates his/her staff in all aspects of service to the highest professional standards with care and attention to detail and in accordance to the standard operating procedures.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Greeting guests as they enter and putting them on a waiting list as necessary.
• Providing guests with menus and answering any initial questions.
• Seating guests at tables or in waiting areas.
• Assigning guests to tables they prefer, while keeping table rotation in mind so that servers receive the right number of customers.
• Engaging with guests to ensure theyre happy with food and service.
• Responding to complaints and helping to resolve them.
• Answering phone calls, taking reservations and answering questions.
• A knowledge of the menu.
• Providing great customer service.
• To assist with any other duties that are required by the member of the management team.
  
  

Suitable candidate should have a minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in an upscale 5* hotel/resort environment. Strong F&B knowledge is a must. Should have excellent personal and interpersonal skills. Should be able to build strong relationship with high profile and diverse clientele. Should be a dynamic team player and able to provide the highest standard of service to our guests. Excellent communication in English language is required and an additional language will be highly regarded.
