Job Description

Role Overview:

As a Hostess - Bar at Delano Dubai, you will be the welcoming face of our bar, setting the tone for an exceptional guest experience from the moment they arrive. Your excellent communication skills and attention to detail will ensure every guest feels valued and enjoys a warm, inviting atmosphere in our stylish and sophisticated setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guest Reception: Warmly greet and welcome guests, escorting them to their seats and ensuring a smooth, comfortable start to their visit.
• Table Management: Efficiently handle reservations and seating arrangements, balancing guest preferences with optimal table flow to maintain a relaxed environment.
• Communication: Work closely with bar staff and management to share guest updates and preferences, supporting seamless service throughout.
• Guest Engagement: Interact with guests to answer questions, accommodate special requests, and enhance their overall experience with professionalism and grace.
• Ambiance Maintenance: Keep the bar area tidy, organized, and aligned with Delano’s luxury standards to ensure an inviting atmosphere.
• Event Support: Assist in coordinating special events and private bookings, ensuring all details are managed for flawless execution.
  
  

Qualifications

• Luxury Experience: You have a proven track record in a luxury hospitality environment - luxury hotel, high-end restaurant, or exclusive beach club, showcasing your ability to deliver sophisticated and discreet service that exceeds guest expectations.
• Exceptional Skills: Your communication and interpersonal skills are exemplary, allowing you to engage with guests in a refined manner that enhances their experience.
• Operational Knowledge: You’re proficient in luxury hotel operations and management software, with a solid understanding of sophisticated service protocols that ensure smooth operations.
• Educational Background: A relevant educational qualification, such as a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or equivalent experience, is preferred, aligning with our commitment to excellence.
