What You'll Do
You’ll love what you do and take pride in delighting our guests:
You will be responsible for welcoming residents, their family members, and visitors to AVA at Palm Jumeirah, creating an immediate sense of warmth, care, and belonging while ensuring every arrival and departure reflects the refined service standards of Dorchester Collection.
You’ll also work closely with the Doorman and Concierge teams to ensure all resident requests are met seamlessly, coordinating driveway access, directing service providers appropriately, and maintaining clear, open communication to deliver a consistent and effortless resident experience.
Maintain a watchful and attentive presence across all entrance points, common areas, and the surrounding residential environment, ensuring the safety and privacy of our residents.
Coordinate the smooth flow of visitors, service providers and contractors through the property, ensuring all access is appropriately managed and communicated to the relevant teams.

This is a high‑energy, front‑of‑house role requiring you to remain present, attentive, and impeccably presented throughout the shift, including standing for extended periods and working across both indoor and outdoor areas.
You will ensure effective shift handovers, maintain full knowledge of residence policies, procedures, and facilities, and demonstrate flexibility by supporting both day and night shifts as operational needs require.

What You'll Bring
You’ll bring your natural warmth, professionalism, and passion for luxury service to the role and the Residences team.
You have a talent for creating positive first impressions, multitasking in a fast‑paced environment, and delivering consistent, detail‑oriented service with confidence and empathy.
You bring 1–2 years’ experience in a front-of-the house role, door host or bellman role within a luxury hotel, branded residences environment
Communication is what keeps our teams connected. You have excellent verbal and written communication skills, work collaboratively across departments, and contribute positively to a culture of teamwork and mutual respect.
You are well‑organized, adaptable, and service‑driven, able to work independently with minimal supervision while supporting the wider team.
