Host Hostess

Job Summary

To assist the door manager with the smooth operation of the entrance to the beach club. Welcome all clients ensuring a happy, positive, and friendly first impression of the Beach Club. The host/ hostess will seat all clients in a friendly, professional timely manner and must be knowledgeable and a hub of information with regards to the beach club, holding natural conversation and delivering with the highest of standards. The Host will be available to clients needs throughout the day, working closely with other team members and the door manager to ensure an excellent service and deal with any client queries or complaints professionally and efficiently. The host must always have an exceptional appearance, be energetic and comfortable interacting with guests. The host will be happy to spend time with all beach club clients using his/her knowledge to up sell where possible and provide an overall exceptional beach club experience to new and existing clients.

Qualifications

• 1 to 2yrs previous experience in beach restaurant or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of professional service etiquette.
• Ability to handle reception duties with confidence and professionalism.
• Basic computer literacy, including email management and data entry.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality in all matters.
• Professional in English communication
• Other languages would be an added advantage.
