Description
HIM CLERK WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
- Preparing patient surgical charts and gathering information documents from patients.
- Ensuring that the medical records / surgical charts are organized, accurate and complete.
- Management and filing of patient records, paperwork and reports.
- Safeguarding patient records and ensuring that everyone complies with HIPAA standards.
- Collaborating with Nursing staff to obtain a required pre admission documents in advance of scheduled surgery.
- Assisting Pre-Op and PACU with records/document needs.
