Responsibilities

• Operate and drive heavy trucks to various destinations as assigned.
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure the truck's safety and reliability.
• Manage the loading and unloading of goods efficiently and safely.
• Maintain accurate logs of travel and deliveries, adhering to federal regulations.
• Plan routes efficiently to optimize travel time and fuel usage.
• Comply with all applicable traffic laws and company safety regulations.
• Ensure that truck maintenance schedules are followed and issues are reported promptly.
• Communicate with dispatchers and other logistics professionals to coordinate deliveries.
• Inspect goods for damage and report any problems upon delivery.

• Provide excellent customer service by handling complaints or issues with professionalism.
• Ensure cargo is secured properly to prevent damage during transit.

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with required endorsements.
• Minimum of three years' experience in heavy truck driving.
• Strong knowledge of traffic laws and federal transportation regulations.
• Excellent geographical knowledge and route planning abilities.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and manage physical tasks as needed.
• Good communication skills for interacting with dispatchers and customers.
• Proven track record of a safe driving history with clean records.
