Job Description

  • To ensure the delivery of the brand promise and to provide exceptional guest service at all times.
  • To maintain positive guest and colleague interactions with good working relationships.
  • To provide a courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service at all times, following Park Hyatt Dubai Standards of Performance.
  • To be entirely flexible and adapt to rotate within the different sub departments of the Food & Beverage Division or any other Department of the hotel as assigned.
  • To be fully conversant with all services and facilities offered by the hotel.
  • To perform opening and closing procedures established for the Place of Work as assigned.
  • To have a thorough understanding and knowledge of all food and beverage items in the menu and the ability to recommend Food & Beverage combinations and upsell alternatives.
  • To ensure that the Place of Work and surrounding area is kept clean and organized at all time
  • To monitor operating supplies and reduce spoilage and wastage.
  • To handle guest enquiries in a courteous and efficient manner and report guest complaints or problems to supervisors if no immediate solution can be found and assure follow up with guests.
  • Experience in Fine Dining or Luxury Hospitality – At least 1–2 years of experience in a luxury hotel or upscale restaurant environment.
  • Strong Leadership & Team Management Skills – Ability to lead service teams, delegate tasks, and maintain high performance during busy service.
  • Excellent Guest Service Skills – Professional, courteous, and attentive, with a strong focus on guest satisfaction and personalized service.
  • Fluent Communication Skills – Proficient in English (additional languages are a plus), with clear and confident communication with guests and staff.
  • Thorough Knowledge of Food & Beverage – Solid understanding of menu items, ingredients, wine pairings, and service standards.
  • Training & Coaching Abilities – Experience in onboarding, mentoring, and upskilling junior service staff.
  • Attention to Detail & Presentation – Keen eye for table settings, guest preferences, and the overall dining environment.
  • Ability to Handle Complaints Professionally – Skilled in resolving guest concerns calmly and efficiently.
  • Familiarity with POS Systems & Daily Reports – Comfortable handling billing, shift reports, and reservations systems.
  • Flexible and Well-Groomed – Immaculate personal appearance, punctuality, and willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
