A well-established organization under a family-owned conglomerate in the interior fit-out and furniture solutions industry is seeking an experienced Head of Sales to lead its commercial strategy and drive revenue growth.
This leadership role will have full ownership of sales performance, business development, marketing alignment, and key account management, while working closely with shared services such as Finance, HR, IT, and Legal to ensure operational and commercial effectiveness.
The Head of Sales will play a critical role in strengthening market positioning, expanding the client base, and ensuring long-term sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy, Planning & Leadership
Develop and implement the overall sales strategy to achieve revenue growth and strengthen competitive positioning.
Translate organizational objectives into clear commercial goals and measurable outcomes.
Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and market segments to expand revenue streams.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to refine the companys value proposition and sales approach.
Track business performance and ensure proactive action to address challenges and capitalize on opportunities.
Commercial & Financial Management
Ensure strong commercial discipline in pricing, tendering, and contract negotiations.
Collaborate with Finance to support sales forecasting, revenue planning, and margin optimization.
Maintain strong oversight of revenue performance and commercial targets.
Business Development & Market Expansion
Lead and manage the sales and business development teams to drive customer acquisition and account growth.
Identify and secure new commercial opportunities across existing and emerging markets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
Oversee marketing and communication initiatives that support brand visibility and sales objectives.
Represent the organization at industry events, trade exhibitions, and networking forums.
Sales Execution & Pipeline Management
Maintain ownership of the sales pipeline, funnel health, and conversion performance.
Ensure strong CRM adoption, reporting discipline, and data quality.
Provide accurate sales forecasts and regular reporting to senior management.
Sales Structure & Go-to-Market
Develop effective territory planning and channel strategies.
Define key account segmentation and vertical sales approaches.
Strengthen the companys go-to-market strategy to maximize market reach and revenue opportunities.
Team Leadership & Performance Management
Lead, motivate, and develop the sales team, promoting a culture of performance and accountability.
Implement sales targets, commission structures, and performance review frameworks.
Support organizational development, workforce planning, and talent growth within the sales function.
Foster strong collaboration across departments to ensure alignment and operational efficiency.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Engineering, International Trade, or a related field; MBA is preferred.
Minimum 15 years of experience in interior fit-out or furniture sales, including at least 7 years in senior sales leadership roles.
Proven track record of driving revenue growth, managing key accounts, and leading commercial strategy.
Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Strategic mindset with the ability to drive growth in fast-paced and competitive environments.
Working Conditions
Full-time, office-based role in Dubai.
Regular travel to client sites, partner meetings, and company locations.
May require extended working hours during critical business cycles or major projects.
