Head of Operations

An established business in the interiors and property improvement sector is seeking an experienced operations leader to oversee project delivery, quality and team performance.

You will lead projects from contract award through to final handover, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget and to the required standard. The role reports to the General Manager and oversees design, project management and specialist delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Own project schedules, budgets and margins across all active projects.
• Lead and develop designers, architects, project managers, site supervisors and specialist teams.
• Verify progress against contract milestones to support accurate client invoicing.
• Work with Accounting to keep client payments on schedule.
• Address quality inspection findings and manage snagging through to final handover.
• Resolve delivery issues and maintain strong client relationships.
• Report weekly on project progress, cost variances, payment status and client concerns.

Candidate Requirements

• At least 12 years of experience in UAE fit-out or interior contracting.
• At least five years of experience leading project management and design teams.
• Strong commercial judgement and a disciplined approach to quality.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate teams.
• Strong leadership, planning and problem-solving skills.
