Job Description
Our client, is a private capital network for growth-stage companies, start-ups and investors. On its behalf we are seeking a dynamic head of investor relations professional to be based in Dubai or in London. This is a permanent leadership role focused on driving high-value investor engagement and building long-term relationships in a competitive, high-ticket environment. You will be at the forefront of our client's growth, shaping investor strategy and acting as a key ambassador for the business.
Ther role requires proven experience managing complex investor relationships, communicating performance and strategy clearly, and building trust with sophisticated stakeholders; a strong sales and business development ability having demonstrated a track record leading sales, BD or SDR teams in intense, high-pressure environments, with responsibility for driving revenue and closing high-value deals. The candidate must have high-ticket competitive sales background with experience in competitive, sales, consulting or banking environments, where negotiation, persuasion and commercial acumen are critical to success. This is a director-level responsibility so experience operating with accountability for strategy, performance and team leadership within an investor-facing or commercial function are key requirements.
You need to possess leadership qualities to mentor and coach, with a direct professional style and the ability to hold a team accountable. A background in venture or startup fundraising with a track record of making introductions between startups and investors, ideally in the USA.
