Head Of Integrated Operations Control Centre IOCC

Are you ready to lead a busy Operations Control Centre that coordinates operational safety, efficiency and resilience across our network? At SolitAir, we’re seeking an experienced and adaptable leader to establish and head the Integrated Operations Control Centre (IOCC). This role will set the strategy, build the team, and oversee integrated operational control functions that ensure safe, compliant and on-time service delivery.

What You’ll Do

As Head of IOCC, you will:

• Establish and operationally manage the IOCC, including staffing, processes, tools and performance metrics to deliver 24/7 operational control.
• Lead cross-functional coordination between flight operations, maintenance control, ground operations, cargo planning, safety, and regulatory liaison to resolve disruptions and maintain continuity.
• Drive problem solving for complex operational events by applying structured analysis, root cause identification, and timely corrective actions to minimise impact on safety and schedule.
• Develop flexible operating procedures and escalation frameworks to respond to dynamic operational conditions, including irregular operations, AOG events and severe weather.
• Implement and maintain integrated systems and dashboards that provide real-time situational awareness and decision support for IOCC staff and senior leadership.
• Champion a culture of continuous improvement, capturing lessons learned, training requirements and process enhancements to reduce recurrence of operational disruptions.
• Ensure all IOCC activities comply with relevant regulatory requirements and company policies, and coordinate timely reporting to regulators and stakeholders as required.
• Provide clear, effective communication in English across internal teams and external partners during normal and contingency operations.
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: Proven background in airline or aviation operational control roles, with significant experience leading operational teams and managing irregular operations.
• Problem Solving: Strong analytical capability and structured problem solving skills, able to lead investigations, define root causes and implement robust corrective actions.
• Flexibility: Demonstrated adaptability to changing priorities and operational pressures; comfortable leading a 24/7 function with variable hours and rapid decision-making demands. This means you are likely to work over weekends and/or evenings as operational demands require.
• English: Excellent written and spoken English with the ability to prepare clear reports, brief senior leadership and communicate effectively across diverse teams.
• Leadership & Communication: Strong people leadership skills, able to recruit, develop and motivate a high-performing, inclusive team; confident at stakeholder engagement and crisis communication.
• Systems & Data: Comfortable with operational control systems, real-time dashboards and data-driven decision making; experience with industry tools is desirable.
• Qualifications: Relevant degree or professional qualifications in aviation, operations management or related field preferred.
