About the Role

Reporting to the Chief People Officer (CPO), the Head of HR will lead the people strategy for CMR Surgical operating across international markets. Based in Europe, APAC, or the Middle East & Africa, this role will partner closely with senior leaders to build a high-performance, values-driven culture while supporting rapid business growth and organisational scaling.

You will oversee all aspects of the people agenda, including talent management, organisational development, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, workforce planning, and leadership development. You will ensure HR practices are aligned with local employment regulations across multiple jurisdictions while creating a consistent and engaging employee experience. This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role requiring strong commercial acumen, international HR expertise, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-growth environment.


Responsibilities

  • Executing a cohesive HR strategy in support of the CPO and as part of the HR Leadership Team (HRLT)
  • Acting as the expert HR Lead for Europe, APAC & MEA, delivering a cohesive and effective HR/People Strategy
  • Partnering executive leadership team members and their broader leadership teams to develop and implement initiatives which are aligned to the business and HR strategies, shaping and structuring the organisation for the future.
  • Supporting leaders through coaching, aligning them with people practices that drive organisational goals and culture.
  • Facilitate and drive change: lead change processes, projects, and initiatives to steer the organisation towards its objectives and cultural aspirations.
  • Supporting the broader HR team, promoting knowledge sharing, best practices, and professional standards
  • Oversee the day-to-day operational HR function for Europe, APAC & MEA
  • Ensure Global HR policies and procedures are aligned to the overall business plans.
  • Ensuring legal, corporate, and statutory HR responsibilities are met
  • Collaborating with HRLT colleagues in delivering people initiatives which are commercial, and solutions focused.


We’d expect you to be willing to turn your hand to anything within the Human Resources remit that helps the team deliver its objectives.


About you

To be successful in this role, you’ll need to have/be:

  • Excellent organisation and time management skills to organise and prioritise multiple work streams within a fast-paced and evolving environment.
  • Strategic Leadership of HR in a commercial environment
  • Excellent commercial judgment and discretion
  • Excellent people skills and understanding complex HR issues.
  • High emotional intelligence and an ability to build strong relationships quickly to influence and operate at the most senior level.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and an aptitude to coach senior level leaders.
  • Demonstrable success in change management
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Articulate, professional and motivational communication.
  • Competent use of HRIS software packages
  • Commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of all employees
  • Minimum CIPD Level 5 or related degree in Human Resources
  • Experience in an HR/People/Transformation roles
  • Experience in a senior management HR role
  • In-depth knowledge of global employment laws
  • Experience in developing and implementing HR strategies.
  • Must be located in Europe, APAC or MEA
