Head of Franchise Development

Job Description

The Head of Franchise Development leads FRAMEX's core franchise strategy, overseeing the identification, evaluation, and development of high-potential brands into scalable, franchise-ready businesses. This role sits at the center of the company's investment thesis, translating market opportunity into structured franchise models and guiding each brand from concept through market entry.

Key Responsibilities

•      Lead the sourcing and screening of potential franchise brands across the UAE and GCC

•      Oversee franchise model design, including system structure, unit economics, and scalability assessments

•      Direct the development of franchise documentation: operations manuals, SOPs, and training frameworks

•      Approve and structure master franchise and area development agreements before submission to leadership

•      Guide market entry and international expansion strategy for franchised brands

•      Manage and mentor the Franchise Investment Manager, SOP Analyst, and Expansion Coordinator

•      Present investment recommendations and franchise development plans to the CEO and executive team

•      Maintain relationships with key franchisors, brand owners, and industry stakeholders

Candidate Requirements

•      Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field; MBA preferred

•      8+ years of experience in franchise development, business development, or investment, ideally in the GCC

•      Proven track record structuring franchise agreements or scaling multi-unit business models

•      Strong financial acumen with the ability to assess unit economics and franchise feasibility

•      Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills

•      Deep understanding of UAE/GCC franchise regulations and market dynamics

•      Leadership experience managing a small team
