Job Description

The Head of Finance position is a pivotal role in steering the financial strategy and ensuring financial integrity within an organization. As a key part of the leadership team, the Head of Finance is responsible for overseeing all financial aspects, including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, reporting, and risk management. This role involves collaborating with other departments to offer financial insights that drive strategic business decisions. Responsibilities

  • Provide insights and recommendations to the leadership team based on financial analyses.
  • Prepare comprehensive financial forecasts and budgets to guide business planning.
  • Lead risk management initiatives to mitigate financial and operational risks effectively.
  • Manage the finance team, offering direction, mentoring, and development opportunities.
  • Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits to ensure legal and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with banking institutions and other financial stakeholders.
  • Monitor cash flow and predict future financial trends to optimize profitability.
  • Support strategic decision-making through financial modeling and scenario planning.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to stakeholders and regulatory bodies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is required.
  • A CPA, CMA, or similar professional accounting qualification is preferred.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in a senior finance leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations, standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, and risk management.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
