The role is about supporting, helping and guiding Investment Specialists, Insurance Specialists and Premier Relationship Managers in better managing their clients’ needs through HSBC’s financial planning and advisory led journeys. They will help improve and shape the teams to be more professional, focus on client management and help drive a better understanding of financial planning and wealth products. The role holder has a responsibility to support, develop and train Investment specialists, insurance specialists relationship managers to improve interactions and drive higher wallet share and wealth penetration within their portfolio.
In This Role, You Will
Achieve agreed KPI objectives (Portfolio coverage, Annual Review completions) and profit growth through the improvement in relationship manager engagement with their clients
Manage a team of Investment Specialists, Insurance Specialists and their delivery
Observe client meetings to provide feedback and improve frontline client interaction techniques
Partner with sales managers to identify individual development needs of frontline job families, providing 1:1 feedback and group coaching on financial planning, investment strategies, client relationship management and business development
Use tools, information, and delivery channels effectively to deliver the highest levels of client service
Be responsible on the advisory journey share of total transactions
Manage the commercialization of new product launches
Adhere to selling process and sales quality requirements
Ensure that sales & operations are undertaken in accordance with HSBC guidelines
Complete all mandatory Compliance training on time and attend the BMLCM trainings
To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
Strong financial services and Relationship Management experience
Evidence of strong client recommendation and sales results in wealth products
Evidence of coaching and leading high performing Wealth teams
Relationship management experience in managing high net worth client portfolios preferred
Sound knowledge of the impact of macroeconomics/microeconomics/local market developments
Expert knowledge of external regulatory framework relevant to wealth management
If internal, in-depth understanding of HSBC Global House Views
Strong clients focus and ability to develop long term partnerships with clients
Ability to deliver need-based solutions through effective communication, influencing, and sales skills
Local regulatory & license requirements - job holder should possess valid licenses with accreditation on wealth management and qualification as required by country
Clear view on how to work with Compliance, Credit & Risk and Internal Control to ensure a balanced risk operating environment
Fluency in English required; Arabic preferred
A graduation degree is essential for obtaining a UAE visa and work permit. If your university certificate is from outside the UAE, up-to-date attestations and equivalency are also mandatory (Recognition of Higher Education Qualifications Issued Outside The UAE)
