About Wynn Al Marjan Island:

On schedule to open in the United Arab Emirates in Spring 2027, Wynn Al Marjan Island has been created as an opulent and entertaining beachside destination for discerning guests to play and relax. Located less than 50 minutes from Dubai International Airport, this integrated resort offering 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants and lounges, a theatre, nightclub, and five-star spa is currently under construction on a picturesque island that gracefully curves into the Arabian Gulf.

About The Position

Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking a Head of Design and Props to join the resort’s Entertainment Administration team.

Responsibilities

The primary duties and responsibilities of this role are:

• Lead the props department in the design, sourcing, fabrication, and maintenance of all props used in productions.
• Collaborate with directors, designers, and production managers to interpret artistic vision and ensure prop requirements are met.
• Manage the props budget, including purchasing, rentals, and labor costs.
• Supervise and schedule prop artisans, assistants, and run crew.
• Ensure all props are safe, functional, and meet performance standards.
• Maintain an organized inventory of props and materials.
• Coordinate prop changes and maintenance during rehearsals and performances.
• Oversee prop storage, transportation, and strike procedures.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Provide training and mentorship to props staff and interns.
  
  

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Theatre, Technical Production, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in theatrical props management or related technical theatre role.
• Experience leading a team in a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong knowledge of prop construction techniques, materials, and tools.
• Familiarity with standard safety practices
• Ability to read and interpret design drawings and technical documents.
• Required Skills:
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Creative problem-solving and adaptability.
• Effective communication and collaboration with diverse teams.
• Proficiency in hand and power tools, fabrication techniques, and prop maintenance.
