  • Collaborate with the MLRO and operational teams to maintain a strong culture of compliance, ethical conduct, and transparent governance.
  • Monitor regulatory developments across the GCC and international markets, providing strategic insights to future-proof Aqovia’s operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law, Finance, Business, or Compliance, professional certifications (e.g., ICA, ACAMS, CCO) are strongly preferred.
  • 7–10+ years of compliance leadership experience within fintech, crypto-assets, or regulated financial services, ideally in the UAE or GCC.
  • Deep understanding of VARA, ADGM FSRA, DIFC DFSA, and CBUAE frameworks, with working knowledge of MiCA, EMI, and FATF guidelines.
  • Proven track record in building compliance functions and managing regulatory relationships in a dynamic and high-growth environment.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at senior levels and across jurisdictions.
