Head of Business Development

Confirmo is a stablecoin payment infrastructure trusted by market leaders. Founded over a decade ago by crypto natives, we're one of the first crypto payment processors in the world and have built one of the most established infrastructures in the industry. Over the past 4 years, we have been growing exponentially (130+%) and expanding across the U.S., Middle East, APAC and Europe.

Our regulatory standing is central to the trust we've developed. In 2025, Confirmo Limited (part of the Confirmo Group) was authorised under the EU's Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) framework by the Central Bank of Ireland as a Crypto-Asset Service Provider, and in March 2026 was further authorised as a Payment Institution under the Payment Services Regulations 2018 - making us one of the few dual-licensed companies in the European market. We see our regulatory strength as a commercial enabler. We're a 60+ person global team, and this is a rare opportunity to be part of Confirmo's next chapter of growth: the launch of Confirmo FZE, our newly established entity covering the Middle East & Africa (MEA) region. As we build out our regional presence from Dubai, we're looking for our first Head of Business Development to own and drive revenue growth across MEA.

Key Responsibilities:

As Head of Business Development, MEA, you will be a senior driving force behind revenue growth in Confirmo's newly created MEA entity. You will own the full business development engine for the region, from opening new markets and building pipeline through to closing strategic deals, while partnering closely with the CEO, MEA & APAC on GTM strategy and strategic partnerships, and working cross-functionally to ensure Confirmo's go-to-market approach reflects both the commercial opportunity and the regulatory realities of operating in the MEA region.

• Own revenue for the region - act as the Head of Business Development for Confirmo MEA, setting and delivering the revenue strategy for the region, from initial outreach and discovery through to close.
• Partner with regional leadership on GTM strategy - work directly with the CEO, MEA & APAC to shape go-to-market strategy for the region, and lead the identification and structuring of strategic partnerships that accelerate Confirmo's regional footprint.
• Define and lead Confirmo's market entry strategy - serve as the company's first Dubai-based Business Development Director, owning end-to-end pipeline generation and shaping the go-to-market approach for a growing region.
• Build and own your pipeline - proactively identify and engage new business opportunities across key verticals (crypto, fintech, payments, and beyond), leveraging dedicated AI tools and company training to build a robust, self-generated pipeline.
• Operate with regulatory awareness - work alongside Confirmo FZE's Compliance and Risk functions to ensure sales activity and client onboarding align with UAE regulatory requirements and Confirmo's group standards.
  
  
  

• 12+ years of full-cycle B2B sales experience – a proven track record of owning the entire sales process from discovery and qualification through negotiation and close, with consistent quota attainment.
• Payments background is a plus – demonstrated experience selling into or working within payments, financial services, or the broader FinTech ecosystem.
• Self-sufficient pipeline builder – a history of operating as a hunter in a true outbound capacity, generating the majority of your own pipeline without relying on inbound leads or BDR support.
• Entrepreneurial mindset – prior experience as an early or first commercial hire at a startup, scale-up, or new market launch is highly desirable; comfortable building process and playbooks from scratch in fast-moving environments.
• Regional knowledge – existing network or market knowledge across the UAE and wider MEA region is a strong advantage.
• Language – fluency in English required; Arabic is a plus.
• Understanding of crypto and stablecoins is a plus.
