EXO ARNVIND is exclusively scouting for a high-impact Head of AI Engineering for a major retail powerhouses in the UAE.

Our clients is undergoing an ambitious, board-sponsored digital transformation to become "AI-first" enterprises. This is not a maintenance role; it is a mandate to build the organization’s "digital nervous system" from the ground up, with significant investment and executive-level backing.

The Role

As the Head of AI Engineering, you will own the long-term AI roadmap for the next decade. You are the bridge between visionary strategy and deep technical execution across retail, supply chain, and digital commerce.

• Strategic Leadership: Set and execute the enterprise-wide Data & AI strategy, identifying high-value use cases that drive measurable ROI.
• Full-Stack Build: Architect and scale the entire AI environment—from GPUs and Lakehouses to MLOps, Vector Databases, and SLMs.
• Innovation Engine: Lead cross-functional teams to build prototypes and move breakthrough solutions from concept to enterprise-wide adoption.
• Responsible AI: Establish governance frameworks for responsible AI usage and lead enterprise-wide upskilling initiatives.
• Operational Excellence: Deploy automation and advanced analytics across finance, customer experience, and physical logistics.
  
  

• Experience: Minimum 12+ years in Data, AI, and Machine Learning, with proven success leading enterprise-scale programs.
• Deep Tech Stack: End-to-end expertise in AI lifecycle management, GenAI, retrieval systems, and domain-specific LLMs/SLMs.
• Innovation Background: Experience with AI product development, patents, or startup environments is highly valued.
• Physical AI: Demonstrated work in Robotics or Physical AI integration is a significant advantage given the retail/supply chain focus.
• Leadership: Ability to partner with C-suite executives to drive cultural and technological transformation.
