About The Job

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head Baker to join Jumeirah Saadiyat Island.

The Main Duties And Responsibilities Of This Role Include

  • Plan, prepare, and supervise the daily production of breads, pastries, and desserts according to hotel standards.
  • Train, manage, and coordinate bakery staff to ensure efficiency, consistency, and adherence to quality standards.
  • Maintain and monitor the quality, presentation, and freshness of all bakery products.
  • Monitor stock levels, order ingredients, and minimize waste while ensuring consistent supply of high-quality materials.
  • Innovate and develop new recipes, seasonal items, and special products for hotel restaurants, buffets, and events.

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • 4–6 years in bakery/pastry production, preferably in luxury hotels or high-volume operations.
  • Diploma or Degree in Culinary Arts, Baking & Pastry, or equivalent.
