Job Summary

IIQAF Group is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Gypsum Board Installer to join our hospitality operations in Dubai. The Gypsum Board Installer will be responsible for installing, repairing, finishing, and maintaining gypsum board, drywall, partition walls, suspended ceilings, false ceilings, and interior wall systems in hotels, restaurants, offices, guest rooms, and other hospitality facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Install gypsum boards, drywall panels, partition walls, false ceilings, and suspended ceiling systems according to project specifications.
• Measure, mark, cut, and position gypsum boards accurately to required dimensions.
• Install metal studs, tracks, channels, framing systems, and support structures for gypsum board partitions and ceilings.
• Construct internal partition walls for hotel rooms, corridors, offices, restaurants, service areas, and other hospitality spaces.
• Install gypsum board ceiling systems, bulkheads, soffits, feature walls, and decorative ceiling structures.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, architectural plans, measurements, and installation specifications.
• Cut gypsum boards around doors, windows, electrical outlets, switches, plumbing fixtures, HVAC components, and other building services.
  
  

• High school diploma, vocational qualification, trade certificate, or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous experience as a Gypsum Board Installer, Drywall Installer, Gypsum Installer, Drywall Finisher, Ceiling Installer, Partition Installer, or Interior Finishing Technician.
• Hands-on experience with gypsum board, drywall, partition, and ceiling installation.
• Experience in hotels, resorts, restaurants, commercial buildings, fit-out projects, or facilities maintenance is preferred.
• Good knowledge of gypsum board materials, metal framing systems, joint compounds, fasteners, and finishing products.
• Ability to read basic architectural drawings, construction plans, and measurements.
• Knowledge of safe use of hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to perform physically demanding installation and repair work.
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety procedures.
• Working-at-height or relevant construction safety training is an advantage.
