Guest Strategy And Research Intern

This 3-month internship is designed for students eager to gain hands-on experience in guest research and content development. As a Guest Strategy and Research Intern for the #ABtalks Show, you will help build and organize the research, stories, and systems that shape our guest selection and preparation. The role blends research, structure, and creativity from uncovering meaningful Untold Stories, to preparing guest insights, to supporting the department’s organization as the show continues to grow globally. This is an unpaid internship focused on developing your skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Roles & Responsibilities (but not limited to):

• Research potential Untold Stories.
• Help organize and maintain the guest database - including names, nationalities, and status updates.
• Track trends, events, and emerging profiles relevant to #ABtalks.
• Assist in preparing guest research documents ahead of interviews.
• Create and update department trackers for guests, stories, and global events.
• Support in developing guest lists across formats (Originals, Untold Stories, Specials, Music, Together, Business).
• Help maintain organized systems — templates, archives, and shared folders.
• Assist in expense tracking and logistics coordination for shoots.
• Contribute to creative brainstorms for story discovery and new guest ideas.

Requirements

• Curiosity and passion for people, culture, and storytelling.
• Strong organizational and research skills.
• Excellent communication and writing in English and Arabic.
• Proficiency in Google Sheets, Docs, and Drive.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
