Job Description

A Guest Services Officer is a vital part of any hospitality or customer service team, providing exceptional service and support to guests. Responsibilities

  • Manage reservations and booking requests accurately and quickly.
  • Provide guests with information about local attractions and services.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams for guest requirements.
  • Maintain a clean and hospitable front desk or reception area.
  • Ensure all guest information is kept confidential and secure.
  • Update and manage guest profiles and preferences in the system.
  • Assist in handling billing and payment processes for guests.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and other departments as necessary.
  • Proactively identify ways to enhance the guest experience and provide suggestions.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality degree is a plus.
  • Previous experience in customer service or hospitality roles preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must-have.
  • Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Proficiency in using front-office or hospitality management software.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle situations calmly.
