Job Description

The Guest Services Executive at our gym plays a crucial role in ensuring a top-notch experience for all members and guests. As the first point of contact, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries, and facilitating smooth operations at the front desk. Your positive attitude and proactive approach will help in maintaining a welcoming environment and fostering a strong community culture within our facility. You will collaborate closely with other team members to enhance service delivery and ensure operational efficiency, promoting our brand values and supporting membership growth through excellent service and engagement.


Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome all gym visitors with a friendly, positive attitude.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries about memberships, services, and facilities.
  • Facilitate smooth guest check-ins and check-outs, handling all processes efficiently.
  • Manage and resolve customer complaints with professionalism and diplomacy.
  • Coordinate booking schedules for classes, personal training sessions, and facility use.
  • Maintain an organized and clean front desk area to promote a positive environment.
  • Support the onboarding process for new gym members, providing necessary orientations.
  • Assist in promotional and marketing activities for various gym initiatives and events.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure high-quality guest services are maintained.
  • Track and report on service desk activities and member feedback to management.
  • Ensure compliance with gym policies and procedures regarding guest services.
  • Foster a welcoming environment by creating a community-focused atmosphere.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education is a plus.
  • Previous experience in customer service, ideally within the fitness industry.
  • Strong communication skills with a focus on customer engagement and satisfaction.
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment without sacrificing quality.
  • Proficient computer skills including knowledge of gym software and databases.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including early mornings and weekends.
  • A proactive and energetic disposition with a passion for health and fitness.
