Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and personable Guest Service Officer-Concierge to join our team and be the face of our hospitality services. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a welcoming and memorable experience. You will provide exceptional service by assisting guests with their queries, facilitating smooth check-ins, and offering insightful recommendations about local attractions and services. Your primary goal is to enhance guest satisfaction through exceptional service standards and personalized attention. Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests upon arrival and offer them warm hospitality and informative assistance.
  • Respond promptly to guest inquiries both in person and over the phone.
  • Assist guests with check-in and check-out processes in a smooth and efficient manner.
  • Provide accurate information about hotel services, features, amenities, and hours of operation.
  • Recommend local attractions, restaurants, and entertainment options based on guest preferences.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure guests receive seamless and timely service.
  • Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized front desk area to uphold company standards.
  • Assist in managing guest reservations and special requests for a personalized stay.
  • Ensure all guest interactions reflect the highest level of professionalism and courtesy.
  • Keep accurate records of guest preferences and feedback for future improvements.
  • Support marketing initiatives by providing guests with information on ongoing promotions.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Guest Service Officer, Concierge, or similar role in hospitality.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with guests.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to handling guest inquiries.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a warm and outgoing personality.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Familiarity with local attractions, dining, and entertainment options is highly beneficial.
