Responsibilities

  • Clean and tidy guest rooms and common areas to maintain a welcoming environment.
  • Ensure all linens, towels, and amenities are replenished and organized neatly.
  • Respond promptly to guest requests to ensure quality customer service is delivered.
  • Identify and report necessary repairs or replacements to the maintenance department.
  • Ensure proper sanitation practices are followed in accordance with health standards.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of rooms to ensure they meet cleanliness standards.
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request orders as needed.
  • Interact courteously with guests to enhance their overall experience at the hotel.
  • Follow procedures for security and safety to ensure guest and staff well-being.
  • Assist with checking and responding to digital housekeeping requests from guests.
  • Adhere to hazard protection and chemical safety protocols while cleaning.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance service standards.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in housekeeping or a hospitality role is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail to uphold high cleanliness standards is required.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy items like linen and equipment regularly.
  • Availability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, is necessary.
  • Positive, cheerful attitude and the ability to work as part of a team is required.
  • Must be able to multitask and manage time efficiently under pressure.
