Job Description

As a Guest Service Associate in the Housekeeping department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests enjoy a comfortable, clean, and welcoming environment during their stay. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of guest rooms and common areas, while also responding promptly to guest requests and inquiries. Your attentive and friendly service will help create memorable experiences for our guests, enhancing their overall satisfaction and loyalty to our brand. You must possess excellent attention to detail, uphold high cleanliness standards, and have the ability to work efficiently as part of a larger team to ensure we meet our service goals.


Responsibilities

  • Clean and maintain guest rooms and suites according to established standards.
  • Restock room supplies such as toiletries, towels, and beverages regularly.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to guest requests and inquiries.
  • Perform deep cleaning tasks in guest rooms periodically as needed.
  • Ensure all cleaning equipment and products are used responsibly and stored properly.
  • Assist with the cleaning of common areas such as lobbies and corridors.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department.
  • Provide guests with information about hotel facilities and services.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments for seamless service delivery.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations to ensure guest and team member wellbeing.
  • Keep track of inventory and notify management when supplies are low.
  • Participate in training programs to maintain service standards and improve skills.

Requirements

  • Previous housekeeping or similar customer service experience is preferred.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
  • Good communication skills and ability to understand guest requests.
  • Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks throughout the workday.
  • Strong teamwork skills and a commitment to providing excellent service.
  • Ability to maintain a positive and friendly attitude under pressure.
