Job Description

As a Guest Service Agent, you will be the face and first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a memorable experience from the moment they arrive until their departure. You will be responsible for providing a warm, friendly, and professional welcome and addressing any queries or concerns they may have. Your role is pivotal in creating a positive impression and maintaining high levels of guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, an ability to handle various tasks with ease, and a keen eye for detail. A proactive approach to guest service and a commitment to excellence are essential in delivering an outstanding guest experience.


Responsibilities

  • Welcome and check-in guests with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Assist guests with check-out procedures efficiently and accurately.
  • Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues to ensure a pleasant stay.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams for guest requests and feedback.
  • Maintain accurate guest records, including personal details and billing information.
  • Manage reservations, both online and in-person, for seamless guest experiences.
  • Provide information about hotel services, rates, and local attractions to guests.
  • Ensure that the reception area is clean, hospitable, and organized at all times.
  • Handle financial transactions, including payments, deposits, and refunds securely.
  • Respond promptly to guest emails and phone calls for reservation inquiries and support.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve guest service procedures and satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and safety standards consistently.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a customer service role, ideally in the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse guests.
  • Proficient in using reservation systems and basic computer applications.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a solution-oriented mindset under pressure.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills for managing guest records.
  • A positive attitude and professional appearance for effective guest interactions.
