Job Description

As a Guest Relations Representative, you will serve as the primary point of contact for guests, ensuring a seamless and exceptional experience during their visit. You will be responsible for addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing personalized services to enhance guest satisfaction. Your role will require a proactive approach to problem-solving, outstanding communication skills, and an ability to anticipate guest needs. In close coordination with various departments, you will work to ensure that guests receive top-notch service, fostering a welcoming atmosphere. Success in this role relies heavily on your interpersonal skills and your capacity to build lasting relationships with guests, ensuring they return with positive memories.


Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests upon their arrival in a friendly manner.
  • Respond promptly to guest inquiries via phone, email, or in person.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction throughout their stay.
  • Resolve guest complaints swiftly, offering appropriate solutions and alternatives.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of services and accommodations offered by the facility.
  • Assist guests with reservations, bookings, and handling any special requests.
  • Document guest feedback and suggestions for service improvement initiatives.
  • Facilitate a seamless check-in and check-out process for guests.
  • Prepare and present reports on guest trends and satisfaction levels.
  • Monitor guest accounts and update details and preferences in the system.
  • Arrange for transportation and activities for guests as requested.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and departments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality, business, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in customer service or hospitality role required.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure effectively.
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications and basic office systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle conflicts tactfully.
  • Friendly, outgoing personality dedicated to providing excellent customer service.
