Responsibilities

• Create detailed technical drawings using AutoCAD software, meeting project specifications.
• Work closely with engineers and design team to ensure drawings meet project requirements.
• Modify and update designs based on external and internal feedback and changes.
• Ensure all drawings and design outputs comply with industry and safety standards.
• Collaborate in project meetings to understand design intent and project scope.
• Manage and organize a repository of past and current project drawings electronically.
• Prepare comprehensive documentation and assist in preparing project proposals and bids.
• Identify design issues and propose solutions to streamline project completion.
• Review architectural drawings and offer technical insight and improvements.
• Provide technical support and guidance to the project team on drawing-related issues.
• Conduct site visits as needed to gather measurements and assess project progress.
• Stay updated with the latest AutoCAD and CAD design software developments.

Requirements

• At least a diploma or degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working as an AutoCAD Draughtsman.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD software and other relevant CAD programs.
• Excellent understanding of engineering and architectural design principles.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and capacity to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
