Job Description

A Guest Relation Agent plays a crucial role in ensuring that guests experience the highest level of hospitality and comfort during their stay. This position serves as the face of the hotel, often being the first point of contact for guests. The agent is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing guest inquiries, and resolving any issues that may arise with professionalism and poise. The role demands an individual with outstanding communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. The Guest Relation Agent is expected to remain calm under pressure, maintaining a positive and welcoming demeanor at all times. Additionally, they play a key role in building strong relationships with guests, which can lead to repeat business and positive reviews, ultimately contributing to the establishment's reputation and success.


Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and greet all guests with a friendly and professional attitude.
  • Promptly address and resolve guest inquiries, requests, and complaints.
  • Coordinate with different departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
  • Maintain updated records of guest information and preferences.
  • Provide accurate information about hotel services and local attractions.
  • Assist guests with check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
  • Follow up with guests to ensure satisfaction with their stay.
  • Manage special requests, such as booking reservations and transportation.
  • Communicate guest feedback to management for continuous improvement.
  • Stay informed about hotel policies, services, and any promotions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk and lobby area.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and guidelines.


Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills required for this role.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a calm demeanor under pressure.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and hotel management software.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
  • Professional appearance and a high standard of personal hygiene.
