Job Description

The Guest and Patient Relation Executive position is a vital role within the healthcare environment, ensuring that guests and patients experience seamless, welcoming, and supportive interactions during their stay or visit. This position is critical in enhancing patient satisfaction and hospitality services as it bridges the communication gap between healthcare providers and guests. Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and visitors warmly and address their immediate needs promptly.
  • Assist patients and visitors in navigating hospital facilities and services.
  • Respond effectively to patient and visitor inquiries both in-person and via telephone.
  • Collaborate with medical staff to resolve patient issues and improve satisfaction.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hospital services, policies, and procedures to guide guests.
  • Document patient feedback accurately and provide timely reports to management.
  • Implement solutions for improving guest and patient comfort and satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure a pleasant and safe environment.
  • Handle patient complaints diplomatically and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of informational materials to guests and patients.
  • Conduct follow-up calls with discharged patients to gather feedback on services received.
  • Provide administrative support to the patient relations department as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Minimum of two years experience in a patient relations or customer service role.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to empathize with patients and guests.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to service challenges.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in a healthcare setting.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain composure under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with hospital management software.
