Key Responsibilities

Business Strategy & Growth Initiatives:

  • Monitor and assess market trends and the event industry landscape to identify new event opportunities, prioritise and develop the most promising launch opportunities.
  • Become an expert of different industries our events serve or Easyfairs could enter based on market analysis, competing event visits and customer interviews
  • Recommend launch decisions including P&L impact to senior decision makers and oversee approved launches with the implementation team.

Existing Event Development

  • Identify key areas for improvements and growth opportunities across our existing event portfolio and develop structured plans to address them, working closely with our event directors
  • Create strategic plans for our events based on the opportunities identified, e.g., concept re-positionings, targeting of new customer groups

Stakeholder Management

  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders (management, event directors and teams) to ensure alignment on growth objectives.
  • Engage with external stakeholders such as sector associations, federations, opinion leaders, press, exhibitors.

The Ideal Candidate

  • 3 to 6 years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, market intelligence or growth strategy.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills, capacity to summarise market insights into actionable strategies.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, hands on person and “make it happen” spirit.
  • Curiosity on different industries, eager to dig into a new industry and understand its key dynamics.
  • Strong strategic vision, analytical mindset, and creativity.
  • Excellent commercial, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, engage stakeholders, and deliver results.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Masters degree preferred but not required.
