Group Financial Controller

About The Role

A diversified, privately owned consulting firm headquartered in Dubai is appointing a Group Financial Controller during a period of regional growth. This is a newly created leadership position with group-wide responsibility and a clear succession path into a broader leadership role.

Key Responsibilities

• Own financial reporting, consolidation, treasury, governance and business partnering across multiple business units spanning UAE, KSA, Qatar and the UK.
• Work directly alongside the Group Head of Finance & IT to shape the finance function across the group.
• Manage one direct report, with a further headcount planned later in the year.
• Play a central role in a major group-wide transformation project.
• Oversee treasury, banking and cash management activities across jurisdictions.
• Lead external audit processes and ensure compliance with IFRS reporting standards.
• Partner senior operational leaders across the business to support commercial decision-making.
  
  

Skills & Experience

• GCC finance leadership experience is mandatory.
• Proven experience managing multi-country finance teams.
• Strong technical grounding in IFRS reporting, group consolidation and external audit.
• Hands-on treasury, banking and cash management experience.
• Qualified Chartered Accountant — ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent.
• Commercial mindset with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
  
  

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: AED 25,000–30,000 per month.
• Housing allowance, transport allowance, medical cover, annual bonus and flight allowance.
• Location: Dubai, UAE, with very limited travel (primarily within KSA when required).
