CONFIDENTIAL EXECUTIVE SEARCH

GROUP CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Shaping Financial Strategy. Strengthening Governance. Building Long-Term Value.

Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Appointment: Group Executive Leadership

Search Partner: Eaton SAKS International Group

An Opportunity to Lead Beyond Finance

An established, multi-entity organisation is seeking an accomplished Group Chief Financial Officer to shape its financial future, strengthen enterprise-wide governance and support its next phase of growth.

This is a strategic leadership mandate requiring more than financial stewardship. The successful executive will operate at the intersection of corporate strategy, operational performance, capital allocation and organisational transformation.

Working closely with the Group CEO and Board, the Group CFO will establish the financial discipline, transparency and institutional capability necessary to support sustainable expansion and long-term shareholder value.

This is an opportunity to influence not only how financial performance is measured, but how the organisation makes decisions, allocates resources and prepares for its future.

THE MANDATE

Financial Leadership at an Enterprise Level

The Group CFO will assume responsibility for the organisation's financial strategy, governance, performance and financial infrastructure across its subsidiaries.

The mandate combines strategic oversight with the ability to translate financial priorities into measurable business outcomes.

Financial Strategy & Value Creation

• Shape and execute the Group's financial strategy, aligned with shareholder expectations and long-term growth ambitions.

• Own the five-year business plan, financial modelling, capital allocation and investment evaluation.

• Lead the financial assessment and execution of strategic acquisitions, partnerships and new business opportunities.

• Provide commercially grounded recommendations to the Group CEO and Board on performance, investment priorities and value creation.

Financial Governance & Institutional Excellence

• Establish consistent financial governance, accountability and internal control frameworks across the Group.

• Strengthen consolidated reporting, financial transparency, regulatory compliance and audit readiness.

• Introduce institutional-grade financial policies, risk management disciplines and decision-making frameworks.

• Support the Board and Audit & Risk Committee with independent financial insight, clear reporting and effective risk oversight.

Capital, Liquidity & Financial Resilience

• Lead treasury strategy, liquidity planning, working capital optimisation and Group-wide funding structures.

• Strengthen relationships with financial institutions and oversee debt financing, refinancing and capital-raising initiatives.

• Improve cash flow visibility, funding efficiency and balance sheet resilience.

• Establish disciplined financial management practices that support both operational priorities and future investment requirements.

Capital Markets Readiness

• Develop financial reporting, governance and disclosure capabilities aligned with listed-company standards.

• Build credible investor-grade financial information, performance indicators and a compelling equity narrative.

• Evaluate potential capital markets pathways, including strategic investment, private placements and a future public listing.

• Preserve strategic flexibility so the Group can pursue appropriate capital market opportunities when commercial and market conditions support them.

The priority is to create a financially disciplined, investment-ready organisation without allowing future capital markets ambitions to distract from present-day performance.

THE LEADERSHIP CHALLENGE

Building the Financial Architecture for What Comes Next

  • The role calls for an executive capable of navigating complexity, influencing senior stakeholders and creating an integrated financial operating model across multiple businesses.
  • One Group. Consistent Financial Discipline.
  • Drive alignment across subsidiary finance functions while preserving the commercial accountability of individual businesses.
  • Establish consistent reporting, budgeting, forecasting, financial controls and performance management standards. Strengthen visibility over contract profitability, commercial risk, project economics and working capital.
  • The objective is to create a financial organisation that provides a reliable enterprise-wide view of performance and supports decisive, informed leadership.

Finance as a Strategic Business Partner

  • Move finance beyond historical reporting to become a proactive contributor to strategic and operational decisions.
  • Translate complex financial information into clear commercial insights, challenge assumptions constructively, and identify opportunities to improve profitability, efficiency and resource allocation.
  • Build trusted relationships with business leaders while maintaining the independence, integrity and discipline expected of a Group CFO.

Technology, Systems & Financial Transformation

  • Assume interim executive oversight of Group IT and enterprise systems until a dedicated technology executive is appointed.
  • Sponsor the continued development of enterprise resource planning, financial systems, reporting automation and data governance.
  • Ensure technology investment delivers measurable improvements in financial transparency, operational control and management decision-making.
  • Following the transition to dedicated technology leadership, retain ownership of financial systems requirements, financial data integrity and reporting-related controls.

Developing the Next Generation of Financial Leadership

  • Build and lead a high-performing finance organisation with clear accountability, strong technical capability and a shared commitment to enterprise success.
  • Provide leadership to subsidiary CFOs and Group finance functions, including financial control, planning and analysis, treasury, tax and shared services.
  • Develop leadership capability, strengthen succession planning and establish a culture of integrity, ownership and continuous improvement.
