We’re looking for a highly strategic and commercially astute Group Account Director with deep expertise across B2B/Corporate & Consumer technology communications. You will have a proven track record of leading major technology accounts, understanding the intricate relationship between corporate reputation, B2B narratives, and engaging consumer campaigns.
A profound passion for what technology enables, combined with a vision for its communication, is essential as you will be working with a portfolio of the world’s leading technology brands.
What Youll Do
- Lead and strategically manage a portfolio of high-profile technology accounts, ensuring exceptional client service and strategic alignment with business objectives.
- Provide high-level strategic communications counsel to senior client stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor across B2B/corporate reputation and consumer engagement.
- Drive the development and execution of integrated communication strategies and campaigns for technology clients, encompassing PR, content, digital, and events.
- Cultivate and expand senior media and influencer relationships across business, technology, and consumer outlets to secure impactful coverage and thought leadership opportunities.
- Oversee crisis and issues management for technology clients, providing expert guidance and executing robust communication plans.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of account managers and executives, fostering their growth and ensuring excellence in delivery.
- Champion creative thinking, data-driven insights, and innovative approaches to client challenges and campaign development.
- Contribute significantly to new business development, including identifying prospects, developing proposals, and leading pitches for technology accounts.
Experience That Contributes To Success
- Demonstrable passion for what technology enables and a deep understanding of the global and regional technology landscape (B2B, corporate, and consumer).
- Extensive proven experience in technology PR, specifically leading high-profile B2B/corporate and consumer technology accounts within an agency environment.
- Exceptional leadership capabilities, with a proven track record of managing, mentoring, and inspiring senior and junior account teams.
- Highly strategic client handler with the ability to provide expert counsel and navigate complex client challenges at a senior level.
- Proven ability to develop and execute sophisticated, integrated communication plans that deliver measurable results and align with client business objectives and market trends.
- Expertise in media relations, influencer engagement, and thought leadership strategies across the technology spectrum.
- Familiarity and practical application of advanced PR measurement tools and a data-driven approach to demonstrating campaign performance and ROI.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with experience in approving high-level communications materials
